- Love the accent wall. What paint color is it? Thx!
hi. I am in the design phase of having a dining banquette built. I like this one you designed. could you please give me the dimensions in terms of height and depth of the seat before the cushions? also is the backrest a raised panel style? I am having trouble finding someone here in California who can give me that style backrest.
All the drawings for this project have been archived so I can't give you exact dims, but I usually count on a 4" firm foam cushion which compresses a little when you sit on it, so you want the bench to be about 2" lower than a chair height, and the cushion to end up being about 2" higher before you sit on it. And the depth of the bench is about 18". I always measure out these dimensions with clients to make sure it fits their bodies. Fine home building magazine had an article a few years ago about ideal bench dimensions. You might be able to search for that on their website. A custom cabinet make should be able to make you a perfect bench for your needs. Maybe you can find one on houzz. The orange accent color was a sherwin williams color, but I didn't keep the name, sorry.

weird but I like the material on the bench seat.. not sure where I would apply that look but I like it.
