Steel troweled cement plaster is my guess. There's a good bit of it by John Lum if you search. This apparently is stucco, unfinished, and can be sealed, and even colored, though I like the natural as well. from what I've read, it's durable and more cist effective than granite or marble. and if course, no grout!
