Our client made all the great fixture selections on this project. See her answer below.

Great selection, one more question about the wallpaper, is the color silver?

    Thanks

Our clients purchased it at an auction in Seattle 20 years ago. The designer and manufacturer are unknown.

The doors are simple wood veneer flush doors with a high gloss paint finish. The hardware is 'Lugano' by Emtek.

Yes, those are wood frames painted black on the interior to match the factory-finished black aluminum on the outside.

5. Midcentury pop. A cherry-red door, pottery horse and oversize midcentury pool photo by Slim Aarons set a playful, party-ready tone in this entry. Tidy tip: A low credenza is a great piece for the entryway since it offers ample hidden storage for quickly stashing items (the dog’s leash, paperwork), as well as a surface for holding keys and a bag (or a drinks tray at a party).Get the look: Colors: cherry red, black, white, a dash of yellowHigh-gloss front doorOversize pool or beach photographyMidcentury-style credenzaShiny chrome light fixtureLacquer accessories in bright huesHandmade pottery or sculpture

Most of the home’s furnishings came from Bruning and Owen’s previous home in New York. Bruning worked with Bethesda, Maryland, interior designer Christie Leu to source a few new pieces for the interior, creating a simple setting with midcentury references. The credenza is a vintage piece, scored by Owen at a garage sale. The photograph is by Slim Aarons. The Jonathan Adler horse is another sly “Brady Bunch” reference. (The show set had something similar at the bottom of the stairs.)
