Shower and vanity - Can you please share the dimensions of the shower (measuring the glass walls), the width of the shower door, and the depth of the vanity. I'm in the middle of a very similar layout. Thanks!

Due to a tight space, the vanity is 1'-9" deep and the door is 2'-2".

window in shower - How did you prepare the window in the shower to avoid rotting, water damage, etc.?

We recommend vinyl windows for this application and we used a vinyl roll down shade from the shade store that can go over the sill.

The vanity is custom made from redwood salvaged from the job site.

Grout color? - Hello! What a beautiful bathroom! Do you happen to remember what color grout was used with these subway tiles? I'd like to use a darker one but I'm not in love with the black. This is a great balance. Thanks!

White and WoodHouzzers are finding their way back to natural wood finishes, which fell out of favor and were replaced by painted white over the past few years. In this case, the wood also has meaning through its history — architect Jennifer Tulley salvaged redwood from the job site and had it repurposed into the vanity. Style note: The thick profile of the countertop balances out the wood. And the strong horizontal line adds a modern touch.See more photos of this California farmhouse

16. Calm and BrightA minimum of frills doesn’t have to mean boring. This serene bathroom pairs a warm custom vanity in redwood salvaged from the project site with a gleaming countertop and tile. To protect the window tucked into the shower from water damage, the team from Jennifer Tulley Architects used a vinyl roll-down shade.

Large mirror. Teakish vanity. Shower enclosure. Subway tile (maybe, though grout is maybe too dark)
