    How much do you need

Love this tile. Do you still carry it?

I would also be interested in the answer. Was a kneewall built inside to create the larger sill? Also, how wide is this sill?

Could anyone offer suggestions on how to achieve this deep sill effect?

it is a bump out on the outside...like a bay window only from the counter top up. Ours had the granite running right up to the interior window sill instead of the step up seen here.

I love the white blind in the window. Where does is come from? It looks like there is no roll.

What is the make/model of the faucet?

I think it's the Harlowe pendant from Pottery Barn. The large glass tear drop-shaped one over the dining table looks like PB also,

What type of faucet did you put in here?

Hello. I love the clean lines and white color of this countertop. I would also like to know what material this is. Thank you!

You can get this window treatment at any Hunter Douglas Gallery. It is a roller shade and appears to have a reverse roll at the top. Hunter Douglas offers a variety of fabrics as well as opacities. That way you can decide the amount of privacy/light that you will get.

Pottery Barn Harlowe Pendant. I have it - it's beautiful!

I have always installed them further back (i.e. closer to the glass).

Doing so still give you access to the window sill for nik-naks even when the shade is down. It also blocks more of the "heat transfer" when the shade is down.

It does make it harder to operate when recessed (especially 10-12" deep) so looking into options for motorized shades may make your life easier.

              2. Machine-washable fabric. Fabric window shades such as roller shades, cellular shades and Roman shades generally aren’t the best choice for kitchen windows. They’re susceptible to staining, especially lighter designs. Many options need to be dry-cleaned, which makes it harder to treat stains. However, some curtains and fabrics are machine washable. Always check the product’s cleaning recommendations.

Restaurant-Style FaucetsYou can also get a more modern feel by pairing a clean white sink with a restaurant-style faucet. It has the rich, inviting detail of a traditional faucet but with a more industrial edge.

Get creative with window treatments. If you are sold on having a bank of windows at eye level in your kitchen but are concerned about less-than-desirable views, lack of privacy or glaring sun, install some simple window treatments such as pleated or roller shades. Just be sure the shade material is 100 percent polyester — or another nonabsorbent, easy-to-clean material.
