CaesarStone has a really nice gray that is literally called "concrete" (color #2003). I used it in a kitchen two years ago and it was really great. It was absolutely carefree and I never had to worry about what was set on it, which was really nice after going to the trouble of finding just the right color/product.

My photos are a bit grainy and the color represented on the website doesn't really do it justice - at least on my monitor - http://www.caesarstoneus.com/products/color/2003/ so I would say it's definitely worth a look in person if concrete-like color is of interest.

would this look work if I'm trying to achieve a coastal look in my home? My kitchen right now, is all white, but needs to be updated, as it is many years old. The floor will stay, it is a brick, porcelain tile with concrete color grout. I'm hoping that won't be a problem. it's a mud floor that needed to be kind of thick due to leveling it (1890 home). I'll be keeping my white cabinets, and replacing the appliances with all new stainless, new hardward and backsplash. Do you have any thoughts on this.. thank you!

I use concrete quite a bit for clients..the key thing is to find a reputable fabricator. There are so many techniques out there, you definitely want one that will last.

These look like 3x6 but it is hard to tell if they are ceramic or glass. We carry both. I would suggest you get a few samples to make sure you achieve the look you are going for. Let us know if we can help with anything. WE would love to answer any questions to help with your project.

It's no more difficult to care for than marble or soapstone - you simply have to decide if you want to go to the extra work of preventing it from developing a patina or allow it to do so and embrace it as a part of the material.

I've always found tile extremely easy to maintain. Be sure to use a grout that can be washed (or sealed) behind the stove. I can't tell what color the grout is, but I love using the faintest gray on white subway tiles. Makes them stand out a bit and they look cleaner longer.

Silestone. Ceasarstone. And corian are all good options. The concrete was colored but I don't know the mix. It was custom. Thanks !

      Oak & Broad
Kaimana, Those look like an oak floor with a dark stain. Since that color is so dark you could get pretty close to it with either white or red oak. The red oak would be less expensive to use. If you have any flooring project questions please let me know joel@eutree.com

the hood is 36" wide and is approximately 42" above the counter top. Please refer to what the manufacturer recommends for hood location. This is a Wolf brand hood.

Yes... Dark base cabinets would look great! Color matters... But not as much as proportion and use of natural light.

My apologies but I don't have a record of the tile- but it is tile- not painted brick. But painted brick would work well as a great backsplash.
