I've seen both for sale. One, the one in the center, is called a milking stool. The other looks like a cement topped, wood bottom table I recently saw. If you are still interested, I could dig for the sources.

Thanks for your offer. I was able to find small stools to use alongside my fireplace.

What kind of wood are the timbers? And is it stained?
  • Quinn
Timber trusses were fabricated from reclaimed Southern Yellow Pine from a tobacco warehouse. They were not stained, but rather sealed with a clear sealer with a matte finish.

These trusses are made of antique southern yellow pine from an old tobacco factory. They only have a matte, clear sealer on them. The color comes from age and use.

Stone is Colorado moss rock boulders. Grout is recessed in a dry-stack style.

Ordinances limited the structure to just 500 square feet, so the plan had to be extremely efficient. The interior is just one open room with a bathroom tucked behind the fireplace and a sleeping loft above. A quartet of sliding doors unites interior and exterior.Cabinetry: Martin Shea Millwork; sliding doors: Konnen Glashaus

Jewelry studio, no kitchen, just a sink, green color matched to a sage leaf on the property

All the walls in this cottage are horizontal hemlock boards, with a light white-washing of paint in Benjamin Moore "Oatmeal". (That must be the “peach” color.) Architect is TKP in.Denver.

if I could actually replace ceilings with real wood beams... would be awesome!
