They look like the shape of Koi, but those are colors I have not seen. Perhaps that is artistic license being taken. :)

I interviewed this designer awhile back, and I believe she had purchased a lot of the patterned throw pillows at West Elm at the time. Their offerings tend to change a lot, so I'm not sure if they woud still be available - sorry!

This is from Jonathan Adler. He actually has a whole fleet of leather animals.

This carpet looks like a berber to me, with a small loop. Very versatile and wears extremely well. It's a great look.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Becky Harris added this to Modernizing Cottage Style
A coastal palette is used here with patterns that are more geometric. The artwork and the color of the gourd lamps recall the sea but are balanced out by light neutral window treatments, walls and carpeting.
Becky Harris added this to Update That Beachy Style!
This designer has thrown in some unexpected shades of blue as well as a greenish-yellow into her coastal palette. She's also included an unexpected daybed and a leather hippo.
Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR added this to Art: The Unexpected
This little leather hippopotamus is adorable in the living room and he doubles as a footstool.
Shawn Gauthier added this to The Animal Statue: Pets Without Responsibilities
This hippo acting like a foot stool seriously cracks me up. The cleanest hippo in all the land, he’ll balance out your room’s setup while introducing a great sense of humor. And all while keeping your neutral carpeting stain-free!
Lawrence Karol added this to Expert Talk: Walk on the Wild Side With Animal Art
Play with sophistication. For this beach house design, Tara Seawright wanted to bring in items the client's two small children could relate to. "It started with a fabric in the living room that had turtles swimming on it — but it was something adults would like too — and animals just started appearing in objects, lamps and artwork," she says."But when you walk into the house, it doesn't feel like an animal kingdom. It's more of an unconscious, playful kind of thing, and this piece by Jeffrey Rothstein met all my requirements because it was sophisticated but had fish. It wasn't too literal, and it's a beautiful piece — bright and approachable," she adds.
Becky Harris added this to 15 Props That Are Tops With Stylists
Leather animals. These charming props add texture and are unexpected sculptures in a room. They also double as ottomans.
