    Many people do this by choice in new construction or have this as an existing condition in older homes. operable windows are less poplar than glass block or privacy ones.

    @Rebekah - why are operable windows less popular? I would think that most people want to ventilate the shower area and so one old want it to open... Thanks for the help.
