Does the wall feel cooler or less warm when the fan is turned on? I assume more of the heat goes toward the room rather than going up the wall from the glass! I really appreciate the time you are giving me concerning the fireplace. I just removed a fireplace because it made the wall dangerously hot even though the company said no chance of fire. You could not touch the wall. It did not have a fan nor hi lo settings nor a heat release system. I am looking at the newest HZ40E which still has somewhat of a high BTU but with all the options I hope they help

We would recommend the fan and a hi-low setting option, however we don't specialize in fireplaces. It would be best to contact your local fireplace suppliers for a few different opinions and to ask any questions you have - hopefully they'll be able to address your concerns. Best of luck!

Hi there, the "Tulip" dining table and armless "Tulip" chairs are a classic designed by Eero Saarinen. There are several manufacturers that also produce replicas.

Hi there..the screens covering the windows were actually hand carved screens that were imported from India that the clients had found during their travels.

    Hi there,

That light fixture is the Harcoloor Jewel Semi flush - available in transparent and color crystal.

9. Laser-cut panels. This is a bold new take on the classic café curtain: laser-cut wood panels that slide over the windows to provide privacy and light control. Roll them onto the blank wall and they become art pieces.

Shane D. Inman added this to 8 Wonderfully Creative Window TreatmentsSep 21, 2012

Carved wood panels. Custom made or found vintage, these can be installed in front of your windows for sturdy, decorative window treatments. Hang them from a decorative rod, like in this photo, or suspend them from the ceiling.Style tip: Hang wood panels on rods with wheels to move them away from the windows when you don't need privacy.

Vanessa Brunner added this to Houzz Tour: Open, Airy Canadian Bauhaus HomeMay 10, 2012

The clients did a lot of traveling and had acquired many of these beautifully hand-carved wooden screens over the years. In the dining room, two privacy screens were installed on a sliding system.
