- Hello,
We have just started removing wallpaper that has been in place for over 30 years. We have found that much of the backing/adhesive is still present after removing the wallpaper. What I would like to know is if I can leave that in place, put Kilz over it and then retexturize the walls so I can just paint over it all? My concern is if I try to remove this backing, I will damage the walls and then have to replace the drywall.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Debbie
