This is a classic look and so custom! Love tile backsplash choice coupled with countertops by sink. Clever paint color choice as well. Do share countertop choice and paint colors, pretty please;)))

Try the Hampton Tumbled Niles 12 x 12 in SKU number 65712 at The Tile Shop. We used this in our powder room. It is carrara marble with little black stone.

The backsplash is a Carrara Marble. Your local tile shop should supply the tile. Best of luck.

    Oak & Broad

One of the keys to American Black Walnut is to finish the flooring in a matte or satin finish. This goes a long way in hiding any marks in the floor. It also gives it a nice custom look.

You are correct, white cabinetry is the trend right now. You can even add a glaze giving the cabinetry an antique look.

I'm wondering if the hinges on the cabinets are called European? Beautiful kitchen btw!! I'm doing mine with antique white on the top and brown stain on the bottom.

I'm no expert, but it looks like an HVAC vent to me, to avoid putting one in the traffic pattern of the floor. Just did the same thing in our kitchen island as part of a remodel.

Why Have a Cleanup Sink?In a nutshell, the cleanup sink is for washing dishes, pots and glassware. It’s for cleaning up! But why do you need a dedicated cleanup sink? Because readying a meal and cleaning up afterward are two separate processes that should be physically separated. That’s how restaurants do it — the person busing tables wouldn’t dare enter the chef’s domain, after all — and the same strategy works beautifully at home.
