Try calicocorners.com for a similar option. I'm not sure of this exact match.

I have four panels like these that I purchased about 10 years ago in a Chinese Arts Shop. Then, they were not expensive but now they probably cost a lot more. Mine have inlaid mother of pearl birds and cherry blossoms. I would try an Asian Art store online. San Francisco has several places that sell this kind of art. They are gorgeous!

I bought 4 panels exactly like the ones in the picture for $25 at Goodwill. I wonder what they are worth.

Thank you for the advice that is perfect however my hubby has thrown a wrench in my initial plans. Who said compromise is good?! *chuckle* He would like to use "plum" instead of teal. I can not live with "purple walls". Maybe in the window treatment. I now have to revise and look for new inspiration. The color scheme plum red and tan, asian inspired. Go figure!

are the chinese panels available commercially

        • telus124
I went around our China Town and the answer was that China no longer exports this type of art. They put their money into computer and other technical supplies. Of course this may be Japanese.

Although not as common anymore, you can probably find this type of panels at an oriental art store.
