Hi there,

You can get a similar look with our Cotswold Bianco tile, a high-gloss 3x6 tile. You can find them on Home Depot.com and I've also attached a photo for reference. If you have any questions please do be in touch! Thanks!

It was a charcoal grey grout to pick up on the beautiful Soapstone countertops. Because the tile was a hand-made look with a less than perfect edges, we also wanted to enhance this feature of the tile. If we would have gone with a white grout you would miss that character feature, one of the things my client so loved about the tile we selected.

The paint finish is a professional lacquer based paint applied in our spray booth. The colour is matched to Benjamin Moore's Cloud White.

Space between tiles? - What is the width of the grout lines? It looks really good. I want to do this is my kitchen but I want it to look deliberate, not just like I have dirty grout. So I'm thinking maybe it's 1/4" or is it 1/8"? Thank you.

You should judge the distance between each tile for grout spacing based on the tile you have selected. This tile is a hand made look that has irregular edges and the shape of the subway tile is not perfect, therefore the spacing is also irregular.

The counter tops are a a natural Soapstone. Heat-proof, stain-proof, completely non-porous, making it a terrific honed finish for use in a kitchen. These tops were fabricated by Green Mountain Soapstone in St. Catharines, Ontario.
