Hello Darzdaycare. The kind homeowners noticed my post and sent the information on the granite that was in our homeowner binder. Marvelous. The granite is Canadian Gold. I have tried to attach an image but not sure if it will work.

    Hi Clay Construction,
Thank you for your input. In the meantime, I have found a solution. The cabinet company would not finish the door. However, I have an excellent furniture refinisher who will finish the door to match (as closely as possible, given that it is fir and the cabinets are maple) . I just need to take him a cabinet door . This guy has done work for me in the past and I have great confidence in his abilities. The cost of the door plus the finishing is still less than 1/3 of the cost of that maple door I priced, and the finish on that would not have been the same as the cabinets. So i am pumped!!

So if I stain the trim around the door that I stained, what about the rest of the trim in the kitchen that is a natural varnished wood? Can I leave it?

It looks like natural stone or slate.

We used natural slate. This was about 8 years ago so not sure of equivalent material. Nevertheless, it was natural slate.

@Clay, I believe this is a cast (slumped) glass pantry door yes? Looks beautiful! We provide many standard cast glass textures with low to high levels of privacy. We design custom textures based on client preference. Color is also an option and can be customized to your room/space decor.

What is the floor tile and backsplash?

    Clay Construction Inc.
You can contact Kurt at D&J Floors and their website is www.djflooringcentre.com/ He can tell you about the floor and backsplash and where to get it. We used a natural slate with its natural variations. Availability will be the issue. I don't know if I could get the same tile now but I am sure that I could get something similar.

Sorry but I don't have the information anymore. We built the house about 8 years ago so hard to locate some information.

I have a granite that looks very much like this and I believe they called it yellow river - from the Amazon area, I believe. Also, why can I see what looks like the reflection of a tv screen in the island's granite?

Sorry, we built the house in 2007/2008 and no longer have that information. We keep better records for current homes.

If you measure from the inside corner of the pantry to the inside of the perpendicular wall, the dimension is approximately 4 foot 2 inches. We then fit in a 2068 pantry door. I have the plan on pdf but you will need to go to my website and email me. Once you email me, I can give you more information.

It is approximately 9 feet in length and about 7 feet in width over the two tiers.

This is natural slate. There are so many variations to slate that you need to choose what is available at the time.
