    They are painted birch branches. You get them from a florist wholesale supply place in bunches. Usually only available in winter around the holidays.

    They're from a local garden center (in north-central NJ), but I'm sure you can find similar ones elsewhere. You could probably do an internet search for "Grapevine Reindeer" or "Wicker Reindeer" and come up with similar options.
