The windows are Coconut Cream colored Marvin Windows, accented by simulated divided light grills. The door is Benjamin Moore Country Redwood. The shingles are CertainTeed Landmark Weatherwood .

Large traditional multicolored three-story brick exterior home idea in Chicago with a mixed material roof

This interesting project involved starting with the garage building on the left side, and adding a house next to it. The owners were living in the apartment over the garage and were planning to build a custom home on a neighboring lot. When that deal fell through, they decided to expand the Gambrel roof style and build a beautiful country style home. Our designed picked up the massing and detailing of the original garage building, and tied the two sections together with a covered entry porch to welcome visitors from the driveway. The deck on the right side was an element of the original apartment, which we enhanced and enlarged on the new house.

This century-old Craftsman style home was completely transformed in a whole house interior and exterior renovation, a project completed by Kon-strux Developments. The renovation celebrates the architectural style of the time.

Carefully designed by Chuck Krueger, AIA to wrap around the branches of this Heritage Live Oak Tree, this home features a birds nest retreat for homeowner. Although new, this home looks like it's been in the neighborhood since the beginning. It's dry stack limestone and beams give it a very warm and charming appeal.
