trudiahart, the island really looks like it may be a solid surface product. It could be a limestone because it's very clean with very little movement, but it's difficult to see from the photo.

The countertop is a marble called Crema Delicato. We honed it.

Thank you! Is it a tile, or an actual stone/brick? We are remodeling our kitchen and looking for this exact look. It looks like an actual stone to me but I can only find split face travertine in a tile backsplash. Yours looks more custom!

It is actual stone. Each piece is different. You need to install individually. Need to look at a stone yard not a tile store.

The upper counter is 18" deep. The posts on the ends are approx 4.5" so it probably overlaps by about 6"

I make one that is similar. I've attached images. I'd like to point out several differences. Ours are handmade to your specifications in Austin, TX USA. Ours incorporate candles that flicker randomly like real candles and illuminate independently from the downward facing puck lights. Ours are made of copper or stainless steel. Or what the heck, we can do it in steel and paint it any color you like ;) Thanks for looking.

The countertop material is not manufactured. It is a natural stone ( marble) called Crema Delicato.

Standard counter and island height is 36" , the upper part would be 42" (which is standard bar height). But of course you can adjust it for very tall or shorter homeowners. But if you are going to have seating and you don't use standard heights you may have to customize the chair seat heights as well.
