how do you prep the marble to not stain or to stain less, because kitchen place keep telling me not to buy it due to easily damaged.

Marble is inherently susceptible to staining. You will need to be very cautious and wipe up any spills immediately.

Hi, Thank you for your question. The finish of all of the fixtures is actually satin nickel. The light over the dining table is made by Visual Comfort. We are an authorized reseller, feel free to contact our office if interested. contact@gildedhome.com

Thanks for your question. From the island countertop to the wall countertops, the distance is 52 inches.

Hi, thanks for you comment and question. The backsplash is 3 x 6 carrara marble tiles. It appears darker and lighter within each piece. My advice would be to lay out the backsplash with the tile pattern that you like considering the pattern and depth of color on each piece. Good luck!

Thanks for your question and comment. The nook is 8 x 10 and the kitchen area is roughly 12 x 18 wall to wall.

Thank you for your question and comment : ) The table is from Restoration Hardware and the banquette is custom built.

Hi, thanks for your question. The paint is actually a custom mix lacquer that I developed with my cabinet builder. However, you could probably achieve something similar with Extra White from Sherwin Williams. The wall color on the left is Pale Oak by BM.

Hi, thanks for your question. The backsplash is carrara marble cut to subway tiles. 3 x 6. You should be able to find it at any tile store.
