The variables are huge. depends, depends.
what is your budget? For example, -where are you located? as it effects labor costs. I can e design if that's something you are interested in?

I am in Brooklyn. I'm just looking for a ball park range to see if I can afford a gut reno project at this time.

Hello, I'm interested in the vanity light as well. Can you offer a similar suggestion?

Try the Saber sconce by George Kovacs. Good luck with your project:

Thanks for quick response! Is that just the lower part? Can you share what the purpose of upper step area is?

You're welcome. Yes, just for the shower area.

The step up defines the area between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. It enables the use of the Blue Celeste slabs that tie in the Blue Celeste slab in the wall niches and also the floor mosaic.

From a practical perspective the step up provides the platform for the glass shower enclosure.

    Thank you.

The wall tiles are machine cut Thassos marble and the grout is a pale blue/ grey that picks up the colour of the Blue Celeste slabs, mosaic and vanity.

It is a Thassos Octagon, with Blue Celeste square insert mosaic. Design ties in w/ the vanity.

    12. Elegant Mirrored VanityMirrors are great design aids in small spaces — especially dark ones. They reflect light to create the illusion of a lighter and brighter space. In this bathroom makeover by Sharon Pett of Pett & Associates, a mirrored vanity adds elegance and reflects light to help make the space feel larger. See the rest of this bathroom

Mitchell Parker added this to 5 Ways With an 8-by-5-Foot BathroomJan 8, 2016

AFTER: The homeowners wanted something “classic yet elegant and somewhat feminine,” Pett says. She gutted the space down to the studs and started fresh. She covered the floor and walls in Thassos marble tile, with hints of blue on the floor and in the grout, a nod to one of the homeowner’s Greek heritage. Vanity: Furniture Guild; sink: undermount, Kohler; countertop: Caesarstone; faucet, toilet and towel bar: Toto; shower head, arm and body spray: Kohler; medicine cabinet and shower door enclosure: Lexington, GlassCrafters; wall tile: white Thassos marble subway tile; floor tile: Blue Celeste and Thassos marble mosaic; shower base tile: Blue Celeste slabs; niche tile: Blue Celeste and white Thassos marble slabs; see more tile
