Are these built by a carpenter or a closet company or something else? I am not sure where to go. Thanks!

What is the vertical spacing of the shelves?

The storage bins were a homeowners addition. However, there is a local Austin retail resource, Treehouse "a smart home improvement store", that stocks sustainable, eco-friendly household items. There are also several online retailers that offer the metal wire baskets, such as Container Store or Walmart.com.

78. A large window brings natural light into this Austin, Texas, pantry designed by Barley Pfeiffer Architecture. The shelves are painted in Benjamin Moore’s Rock Gray.

2. Keep go-to items at eye level. Judging by where these cereal boxes are kept, I’d guess that a couple of self-directed kids hit this pantry for breakfast every morning. I’m taking a cue from this smart parent and organizing my pantry based on how often my family uses individual items. I’ll reserve eye-level shelves for cereal, pasta and other staples while keeping baking supplies and treats higher up.

Day 3: Take care of the pantry.Decluttering tasks: Working one section at a time, take everything out of your pantry and go through it. Toss out expired food. Set aside items that are still good but that you know you will not use. Transfer bulk items into airtight containers to keep them fresh and keep pests out. Sort what you are keeping into categories based on when you use the items — for instance, all breakfast foods could go together on one shelf, and all baking supplies on another.Cleaning tasks: Wipe down pantry shelves and containers as you declutter. Challenge: Kitchen is overflowing Don’t have room for a dedicated pantry? Consider using a section of the wall to host a full-length cluster of shelves.
