    From the owner:
"We designed and built the fence from off-the-shelf wood siding available at most home improvement centers. To reduce cutting of lumber, we used the actual size of the siding which was 8ft. x 4ft. as the height and width of each panel. The "inset" panel sections are cut in half and placed horizontally to counter the vertical lines of "outer" panels for graphic impact. Each panel are set on 4x4 posts every four feet and framed at the top using 2x4's. It's pretty basic construction."

since you used standard house siding, what did you do with the back side?

Hello! I am the photographer and am unsure about what type of wood it is. However it was painted so I am sure you could re-create that look with a variety of woods or synthetics.

Change up your wooden fence by reversing the direction of the planks. It’s an easy preinstallation design switch that lends a fresh look.
