Where did the wall to wall carpet come from?

The carpet was provided by the homebuilder- not sure of the manufacturer.

Hi jauar5, those do look like Barbara Barry chairs, but they're not...we ordered them from Owners Select. Good suggestion tho, I'm sure that would fit the bill for anyone liking the style of these chairs. Thanks!!

Those are really nice @hbyabato! Thanks for sharing that link. The fabric we used in the photo has been discontinued for some time now. The panels you shared are a wonderful alternative for anyone considering this look.

You can go to a hardware store or somewhere like Bed, Bath and Beyond and purchase a 4' or 6' rod and cut it down to the size that works for your installation. That's what I did on this job.

Hi colleen0918! Thank you for your comment. Some questions are just tough to answer. For instance, tresveloz asked for dimensions and/or brand name of the round back chairs...the chairs were made by a company in North Carolina (Owner Select) and are no longer part of their product line. A great deal of the products used in our projects are custom or trade only sources. We respond to questions that we have answers to right away. Some requests take some digging and even phone calls. Sometimes it's just not info that we have kept in our client files once the project wrapped up. We often suggest that people contact us so that we can help them find the right product and proper solutions to their problems. We love helping clients figure out the best options for their unique tastes and lifestyles. So yes, we would love to have those that are intrigued by our portfolio to "hire us". Good luck with your project!

Hi! Thanks for your interest in the room I designed. The draperies were custom made from a fabric that is no longer available. If you need help tracking down a replacement just contact us at www.erikabonnell.com and we'll be more than happy to help.

Hi! You can buy 4' wood rods just about anywhere and cut them down to your desired size.
That's what we did. Good luck with your project!

The sofa and chairs were Martha Stewart Collection from Belfort Furniture. It's no longer available. Sorry.

Hi! So, I have searched through the old files for this project and can't put my hands on the colors. I'm pretty sure the walls are Benjamin Moore Elmira White and the ceiling is a charcoal. I looked through my paints and would say Benjamin Moore's Stormy Sky 1616 is very similar to this. Thanks for your question! I hope this helps!

This fabric has unfortunately been discontinued. Try a google search for something similar or Etsy. Good luck!! Erika

I have searched my files on this project and can't seem to find the colors for this room. I'm almost positive that the color is Benjamin Moore's Elmira White.

I'm sorry, but I no longer have the paint color on file. The stripe is off-white and charcoal.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Charmean Neithart Interiors added this to Lay Out Your Living Room: Floor Plan Ideas for Rooms Small to LargeMay 12, 2013

Here is a common condition in a smaller room with lots of big windows. Don’t be afraid to pull the furniture away from the walls. This classic arrangement makes a small room feel larger, with many seats for guests to choose from. Notice the ottoman in lieu of a coffee table. A tray provides a hard surface for flowers or drinks. The curtains have a natural place to fall since furniture is pulled away from the walls.

Lisa Frederick added this to Extend Window Design Solutions With Short Curtain RodsFeb 7, 2013

Arched windows can be difficult to frame with standard drapery rods, but shorter versions in this space work beautifully. They allow for continuation of the drapery panels that dress the single window, yet aren't so long that they appear monolithic.

Becky Harris added this to 16 Great Ways to Use Living Room CornersNov 28, 2012

Make a big statement with a room screen. Artwork is great, but it can get lost in a corner like this one. If your corner has a case of the blahs, add height, dimension, texture and geometry by angling a room screen there.
