Thank you all for your kind words! The corbels in this kitchen are custom. However, I would recommend looking on Osborne Wood Products or Hafele.

Where did you get the lighting over the island? I need details please. Because as soon as you post, I'm ordering 2. Is the ceiling painted white? It almost looks like the cabinetry color. And for the record I love your entire kitchen!

Soapstone is very easy to keep up. You can wax or oil it once a year if you want a shine like in this kitchen or you can leave it natural. It's possible to scratch or nick it, but it's very easy to sand those blemishes out or, again, some prefer to let a patina develop over time.

Soapstone is very easy to maintain. The only maintenance required is the application of mineral oil to enhance the natural darkening process the stone goes through.

thank you for your question! Typical soapstone slabs are 5'x9' give or take. But, usually due to the material, when two slabs are put together the seam wont be noticeable.

Both faucets are made by Kohler. The island faucet is the K691 model and the main faucet is the K690.

The cabinetry is finished in a butter cream enamel with glaze. It is a beaded inset with raised panel door.

This is called a Franklin edge. It's intentionally worn and the tops are from Bucks County Soapstone in Pa.
