All of our copper fixture's materials are sourced in the US and are handcrafted by copper-smiths in the New Orleans area. I'm interested in the sink as well. I'm planning on replacing a 38" porcelain sink, but am having a difficult time finding another 38" (anything) to replace it with. A few years ago they were all over the place in every material imaginable.

Interested in the sink too. Size, materials? Manufacturer?

Yes, I would like to know about the thickness of the shelves as well.

If your question is Are they compatible, does it work when you look at it. They are both natural mediums. If the look balanced, that is, one does not overpower the other, then you have made your decision. Do you have high ceilings? or does the the ceiling appear heavy in your eyes. why not look at it, or live with it, for some time. Delay your decision until you recognize your own reaction. If the beams are heavy looking or darkens your room, paint them or part of the ceiling treatment white. Gloss white paint appears lifting due to its reflective qualities.

    Granite Grannies
It's hard to tell what hte counters are from here. They look a bit thick for granite. Maybe concrete? But honed granite is great. Polished will show fingerprints more than honed, but only Absolute Black Granite shows fingersprints. Most granite, no matter what finish, don't show fingerprints.

The walls are finished with a Venetian plaster in a color similar to Dunn Edward's Rice Bowl.

The planters were purchased by my client, but I believe they were from Jonathan Adler.

                          What Houzz contributors are saying:

Janell Beals - House of Fifty added this to Goodbye, Island — Hello, Kitchen TableJan 5, 2016

When chairs surround the table, as opposed to the typical island where stools are along one side and occasionally an end, everyone can sit facing one another. This is an advantage for those wanting to use the kitchen for most meals.

Becky Harris added this to 12 Rustic Touches That Add Warmth to a KitchenOct 8, 2014

A farm table. A sturdy wooden table is a great place for family dinners and doing homework. If you are more of a kitchen-island type than a kitchen-table type, you can adapt a farm table to a higher surface height and use stools instead of chairs.
