The names of the colors are arbitrary, (I would have offered up the name if we had ever paid attention to it). This was one of at least three colors we suggested, and I'm not sure which one we went with. It's best to start with a set of paper samples. Your local Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams will usually give you the entire kit for free. Using the paper samples find about 3-5 colors you think are close (you can hold the paper samples close to the monitor until you find a few that seem to work), then ask the store for their 2-4 ounce test samples in those colors, and use those to test the color on your wall. Sorry, if I sound imprecise, but that's as precise as it gets with color.

These are color changing LED strips. You can order these online from numerous suppliers.

The paint is dark grey. Please keep in mind that sourcing colors from photographs is extremely problematic. You are looking at a wall that is naturally lit by large north-facing windows; the photographer might have used an extra light source, or a lens filter; the light levels in the image have been adjusted by the photographer; the picture looks different depending on the settings of your computer monitor, etc...... so when working with color, your best bet is to get some samples you like, put them on your wall, and see how they look in your space.

5. Crystal chandelier. These bejeweled fixtures add a familiar luxe touch to any room. This room is so clean-lined that it was begging for a froufrou silhouette overhead. The juxtaposition strikes a smart balance.
