Whitewashed CabinetsTraditional Kitchen, Boise

New window and white washed cabinets are nice and bright. The red and white oak floor offers a nice contrast to the solid cabinets. The black crown molding and dark stained glass pendants pop against all the light colors. Photographed by Philip McClain.

Great question. With all of the warm tones in this room and sounds like in your kitchen too, the black acts like more of an accent than a dominant color. Therefore, it doesn't make anything feel smaller. Have you completed your project? If so, how did it turn out and do you think it feels smaller?

Hi Misty, it is a 30” gas range, Jenn Air stainless steel slide-in, #JGS8860BDPSS. This was back in 2006, so the specification may have changed.
