    I have some idea that I would like to have open units which are more in keeping with how we live and the age of the cottage. I'm a firm believer that houses begin to direct operatons when it comes to design, and while I love the kitchen - it is six years old and I like the idea of making some changes. We'll keep the Corian worktops and the wooden floor, but change the cabinets to a more solid open shelving... of cours... in white! Yes, I work from home and travel around my home for the favourite space of the season.

Many people find white walls uninspired. To me, it's the only way. What would you choose today instead of Corian, or would you?
