I would also like to know how the edging is so clean looking? Is there metal or other form of edging? Thanks!!

The bed edges are created by hand digging them deep enough to create a clean line. No aluminum or steel edging is used.

The large white flowering shrubs are double file viburnums. In the under-story / foreground are various hostas and Itea ' Henry's Garnet'.

can you suggest a good mixed fast border or shrubs & trees for zone 6

It would be difficult to give you accurate information without more details about the area you are interested in planting. (Ex. Sunlight exposure, moisture, soil type) . Our recommendation would be to contact our office and ask to speak with one of our landscape architects or contact another professional near your home. Thank you for the inquiry!

definitely looks like clematis, white flowered plant is most likely multistem dogwood, I prefer kousa dogwood over cornus florida for disease resistance.
