It's also unlikely, in my opinion, that one would want to be taking glass in and out. Where to store it, and make sure it doesn't get scratched, etc.

The flooring are removable IPE wood panels. They can be either oiled or left to weather to a sliver color. There is a Thermoplastic Overlay roof under the wood panels to waterproof the space below.

Those are flat-seamed panels and all the clips and fasteners are hidden. The panels are folded, which make them water-resistant, however there is a peel-and-stick sheet behind the panels that is the real waterproofing.

In addition to railings made of wood or composite materials to match your deck, glass panels, stainless steel cables and welded metal railings are also popular choices. If you decide on a composite railing to go with your composite deck, see if the distributor of your decking sells a railing kit. The components make it easy to put together an attractive railing. No matter which railing you choose, make sure it is tied to the structure below and is strong enough to keep everyone on the deck. Steel brackets that bolt the railing posts to the deck joists and beams are usually the best.More:10 Ways to Bedeck Your DeckIdeabook 911: My Yard Needs StructureGet Ready ... 5. Easy to maintain Balcony wall tiles are much easier to maintain than wall paint. Wall tiles do not retain stains or attract dust or dirt – you just need to wipe the tiles with a damp cloth to maintain their fresh look. On the other hand, painted walls need to be repainted periodically because the external paint may get damaged due to flaking, chipping or fungal growth. What safety features will you need? Unless your deck is built at grade level, you will need to have a railing. There are a few measurements to keep in mind. You will need to limit the space between banisters, glass panels or horizontal slats, for safety, in line with the building code in your state or territory. Also, look out for the minimum height requirement, as well as railing width. In addition to railings made of wood or composite materials to match your deck, glass panels, stainless-steel cables and welded metal railings are also popular choices. If you decide on a composite railing to go with your composite deck, see if the distributor of your decking sells a railing kit. The components make it easy to put together an attractive railing.
