the actual color to the left is gray. blue and orange are complete opposite on the color wheel. I wouldn't suggest the paring unless you're trying for a high energy punch of a space.

Orange = Pantone's Tangerine Tango. Pantone's Color of the Year for 2012, Tangerine Tango is predicted to stay hot through fall. According to Pantone, it's meant to “provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward,” while also feeling a bit “exotic, but in a very friendly, nonthreatening way.” Consider picking up some paint in this red-orange hue and adding a spark of unexpected color with a small but seductive accent wall.

    2. Add unexpected pops of color with paint. Not sure if you're ready to go all tangerine? Take a tip from this designer and use it on just one wall. It goes with warm and cool colors, and is easy to paint over if you get tired of it.

This coral print bolster plays off the wall color and lets visitors know that this cabinet can be used as a bench when extra seating is needed.
