How Do I Delete My Account?

If you have a Houzz Pro subscription, you have both a Houzz.com account and a separate Houzz Pro subscription.
Your Houzz Pro subscription is a paid annual subscription. If you would like to cancel your plan, please read this article for more information: How to Cancel Your Houzz Pro Subscription
Your Houzz.com account is a free account where you can browse photos, products, articles, professionals and more. If you would like to delete your Houzz.com account, you can do this within your account settings.
Please Note: Deleting your Houzz.com account will not cancel your Houzz Pro subscription. It is not possible to delete a Houzz.com account that has an active subscription or open orders with our shop.
To delete your Houzz.com account:
1. On Houzz.com, go to your profile icon in the top right of your screen, and select Edit Profile and Settings.
2. In the left-hand menu, select Privacy Settings/Privacy Choices under the Account menu.

3. Scroll down to the bottom and select Delete My Houzz Account.
4. As a final security measure, you will receive an email confirming your request at the email address that is registered to your account. You must confirm your deletion request through that email to continue processing your account deletion.
Once you have confirmed your request, your account will no longer be accessible, and you will no longer receive Houzz emails. This is a permanent change that can't be reversed, so you will no longer have access to any business records, ideabooks or other content saved on Houzz.com.
It may take up to 90 days for all your data to be completely deleted. During this time, the email associated with your current account will not be available for use on Houzz for any new accounts.
