A Broad Design has a wide variety of styles from eclectic interiors to contemporary modern with emphasises on using neutral colour palettes with punches of colour and lots of textures from raw concrete to silks and satins, stainless steel and warm exotic woods, unusual ceramics, natural stone and more, creating something timeless, elegant and different infusing warmth rather than something that is just “in” but still using new exciting fashionable and innovative ideas but mixing it with more classic pieces which adds, enhances and complements the unique designs of A Broad Design evoking a melody of harmony with each other and most importantly the clients requirements, the functionality of the space, the client’s personality with their own tastes and visions. A Broad Design also has the added advantage of working with the same professional team to support all its services, with experienced contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, cabinet makers, floor specialists, glass suppliers, painters and other qualified professionals who will work together to create a space of high quality creating an exclusive finish

I have been working with Amanda for years - my current home is the second property she has helped me design / remodel. She is an exceptional designer and project manager. She takes care of all the details and curates a pleasurable home renovation experience. Most recently we redid my mezzanine /office and bedroom floor, including master bedroom, kids bedroom and guest bedrooms. The result is breathtaking. She is so talented and resourceful, I couldn't recommend her more. I look forward to working with her for years to come. And fun and witty to boot!

Amanda-Clare Broad owns and operates this multi-dimensional design and project management firm. She is a talented and creative interior design professional who has completed two demanding residential projects for our family and we highly recommend her. Project no. 1: a significant renovation of 2 townhouses functioning as a single home. Project No. 2: a total rebuild of the interior of a condominium including partitions, flooring, electrical, heating and plumbing upgrades. Some engineering work on the structure was also carried out.

Amanda recently finished a complete redesign of my bathroom. And the result is totally impressive and amazing. I feel like I am entering a spa each time I go into the bathroom. My children absolutely adore their time in the bathroom and using the final product as well, in particular the shower and bathtub. Each of the products Amanda recommended, was selected with care and all of very high quality. Her team of contractors are second to none, courteous, timely and very knowledgeable. Most of all, Amanda never lets you down. Even though she has many projects taking place, she makes you feel like a valued customer and like you are the only one she is working for. She is available 7 days a week and is always on top of her projects. There is never anything left undone. Finally, because of Amanda’ experience, she makes recommendations that you would know have thought of had you done the project on your own. And I really think this is a differentiator for her. She has great ideas, a fantastic team and provides excellent customer care. I see this on all projects I have done with Amanda. In the end, she delivers an end product which is more than you had originally asked for. All of these special ideas that Amanda adds to a project, makes the end product even better. I highly recommend Amanda to help with your renovation needs.

Makes me sad to give a negative review but my experience with this designer has been a nightmare. Unfortunately Amanda is disorganized and does not provide formal working plans, timelines or budgets even though she describes offering a turn key service. She is not transparent with costs with many invoices coming in at 2-3x the estimates cost. She offers a low initial rate but clearly makes her money by pushing her clients to use her suppliers. Her general contractor Tuiles & Ceramique Verdun has also made many costly mistakes on the project. My renovation has turned into a nightmare and my family and I have suffered greatly. After terminating Amanda’s contract I have taken the project into my own hands and now hope to have a working kitchen/dining & living room 4 months after demolition.

We had the pleasure of working with Amanda on 2 projects recently: the renovation of our cottage kitchen area, and the renovation of a rental apartment. She brought excellent ideas to both projects, and produced detailed plans with options. We are particulartly greatful for her advice on our cottage where she recommended us to design the layout to maximize the view on the lake by opening up new windows. It really changed the look of the entire living area with stunning views. By carefully organizing the kitchen, we also ended up with more storage space that we had before, so we won on both fronts.

From the originality of the designs, through the selection of stone / marble / tiles as well as hardware and paint coloring, Amanda was extremely thoughtful to our "vision" and style of the rest of our home. If you think you are too busy to undertake a home renovation project (as I did), Amanda is the designer and project manager that will make your dreams come true (from conception to final touches)! She transformed the kitchen, office and living room from mediocre to absolutely gorgeous and an inviting space that I love coming home to. Could not ask for a better partner for my project! She is also very patient and accommodating, and witty and fun to work with!
