MERGE Architects is an energetic and engaged architecture practice based in Houston, TX that has a distinctly modern focus. Our work is progressive, experience-centered, dynamic, and bold. Professional fees are derived on a per-project basis and are roughly based on a percentage of the agreed-to expectation of the overall project costs. Construction costs for a site specific, individually (family) tailored modern private residence ranges from $200 to $500 per square foot depending on many factors. Commented: Wood/Finish The soffits on this home featured rift sawn cypress. If memory serves me, I believe we opted to go with the Penofin Transparent Penetrating Oil Finish Stain and Sealer, Color "Mission Brown"...

Commented: Fireplace Details The paint color is white. Each paint manufacturer has their own name for pure white but to the best of my knowledge this was Sherwin Williams "Extra White".

Commented: The Leather couch and chairs, where are they from? The living room furniture pieces are all from Cantoni.

Commented: Who made the door? This pivot door was made by Gary McFarland at Pivoting Doors in Wimberley, TX. He does excellent work, I highly recommend him.

Commented: What material is used for roof of this or other contemporary homes I'll have to check my records, I use three roofers, they're all good but timing is always the issue hence why I have three.
