1. We first used L.G.K Building Inc. in 1997 to remodel a bathroom, laundry room as well as put on a new roof. We were very pleased with the work and decided to hire L.G.K Building Inc. again in 2016 for a complete walk-out basement remodel. Sterling was outstanding to work with. Workers were very professional, honest and timely. We were done ahead of schedule. We are thrilled with our new basement which has quickly turned into our main living space as it has a spacious family room, bar/kitchen, bathroom as well as a separate large movie room/kids game room. We are beyond thrilled with our basement and highly recommend L.G.K Building Inc.

We had a custom home built by L.G.K. Building Inc. in Milford, Michigan and we are very happy we chose them. Not only is it a well built quality home, but beautifully detailed and solid. LGK built our custom home, finished October 2015. This is the second home LGK has built for us. Our previous home was built in May 2003. (We have had two other homes built before these). We would have no one other than LGK build a home for us. Their knowledge, attention to detail and willingness to work with us on design and ways to stay within budget are some of the reasons we had for using LGK. The owner, Alex, was on site just about every day of construction and oversaw all aspects of the building process. If something wasn’t correct or not per plans, he made the subcontractor conform to the plans. A couple of examples; the forms for the concrete for our sidewalk were too close to the house and not per the plans. The concrete subcontractor was “relieved of his duties”, another hired and the sidewalk was installed per the plans. The HVAC contractor delivered the air conditions for installation later in that week. They were not the brand or the size that were specified. LGK had the air conditioners removed and hired a new HVAC contractor who supplied the specified items. As for design help, we have a curved staircase railing. The cost from a prefabricated manufacturer was much higher than we anticipated. LGK built the staircase railing on site at about a quarter of the cost. LGK was instrumental in the design of our fireplace and fireplace wall. Pictures attached of the staircase railing and fireplace. Dream Kitchens

I have recently had the pleasure of working on one of Alex's homes in Milford, MI. As a designer, it is always a little nerve racking working with a new builder for the first time because you are unaware of their talent and capability. Alex and his carpenters did an amazing job taking my vision for the kitchen and office and bringing them to life with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. Even extending out of my areas of focus, Alex himself was building the curved staircase and hand rail as well as the coffered ceiling. If you are looking for a builder who pays attention to the small things and who is at your jobsite personally, Alex is your guy!
