American Period Lighting

Last December, 2016 American Period Lighting serviced a wind damaged lamp post and fixture that they had originally installed when my home was built in 1991. For 26 years, our two oversized brass post lights had withstood severe storms and enhanced our Colonial home with their oxidized finish. But very high winds proved to be too much for one of the lights, since the cedar post had incurred insect damage. The post came crashing down and caused some damage to the light. Fortunately APL sent Rod out promptly to fix the problem. He professionally handled all the repairs, new wiring, and installation of a new post with record turn around time. Our old fixture looks as good as new and the post is securely anchored in concrete to withstand storms for many more decades. Soon afterward, Rod promptly came out for a follow up call to address a wiring problem that turned out to be unrelated to the original work. We are very grateful to APL for their commitment to excellent products and service at reasonable cost. We highly recommend!

I purchased my first American Period Lighting fixtures and lamp posts from Jack 24 years ago for our New England style home. I've done business with Jack the owner for over 35 years. We bought 2 lights from him in 1983 when we first bought the house and then added 7 more over the years as we added onto the house and built an additional 2 car garage. As you can imagine a couple off the lights needed new sockets after all these years and Jack took care of repairing them. In addition I broke the glass on one and Jack removed the solder and replaced the glass at a very reasonable price. You won't duo wrong doing business with them. They have a high quality product at a very reasonable price.

I can't begin to tell you how much our home, both indoors and outdoors, has been enhanced by American Period Lighting. It is always so uplifting to pull in our driveway with our wooded lot so beautifully lit. The quality of all the light fixtures are second to none. We have never needed to replace any in the 25 years we lived in our home. We really appreciate working with Jack and Rod. They are both very creative and always seem to find a solution to any problem.
