AMF Custom Works

I hired AMF via "CustomMade.com" in 2012 to build my custom kitchen cabinets, bed and closet cabinets... our agreement was for all three projects to be completed within 4 month from the start date (June, 2012)... needless to say I still haven't received one item...not one cabinet, nothing...I received some photos of my kitchen cabinets...but later found out they weren't as completed as first told. it's been going on for almost 3 yrs ...the only reason i allowed it to go on for so long is due to me fighting cancer and not having the energy to take him to court...and his continuous excuses and me giving Al 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances... and me living in MD didn't help. I haven't spoke with him in almost a year...he claims my kitchen cabinets are finished but needed the hardware to complete, and maybe revise a couple of boxes...I told him I would order them myself (not trusting to send him additional money) and ship them to him...once I got out of the hospital...I tried to reach him, I sent text, vmails, emails, etc...to no avail. I was trying to reach out to him to let him know to send whatever he's completed, have them shipped to me so we both can go our separate ways... me...thinking this would give him a sigh of relief...nope...he didn't respond...so as the other victim on here has done... I'm left to filing suit, calling the police... I'm out thousands of dollars...I cant believe people like this exist...I gave him until Dec 10th, 2014 to respond...we'll see if he does... I'm a very understanding person...I've told him numerous times that he could talk to me about anything...no reason to avoid me...but he took advantage of my kindness.

Al was contracted to make dining room tables and chairs for a sorority house at University of Colorado. He was paid full according to our agreement. We were suppose to have a sample table in April (2014) and our work completed by August (2014). We never got our proof, and he never delivered any part of our order. We have filed a police report, but please do not use him. We spent over $50k and have nothing to show for it. If he chooses to return our phone calls or deliver our product, I will update this review to reflect that. Otherwise - steer clear.

We subcontracted a high-end custom vanity to Al who did a fantastic job. The vanity came out exactly as we designed it and the homeowner loved it. I would recommend Al.

Al did a superb job on a built in bookcase for our home office. He is very meticulous with his projects. I could not be more pleased and it was worth the wait for the beautiful job he did. The custom color match to the rest of the cabinets in our home was spot on.

I recently contracted Al Franco to make me a custom fish tank cabinet/stand, and I just could not believe how beautiful it turned out. Al is a real professional. He always kept me updated on the progress of my project, and when I made some last minute changes after he was nearly finished, he was more than happy to make the changes requested so I could have an even better piece. He was very patient with my decision making and always available to discuss the design even after the project had started. I asked Al to wait to post pictures until after I setup my fish tank, so he can get some really nice shots of the final product, not just the cabinet. Thanks to Al for this beautiful piece!
