We bought our house over a year ago and Newcastle was absolutely phenomenal throughout the process. They fixed anything that came up within the first year immediately and at no additional cost. They continue to be incredibly helpful and responsive (we are getting a water system installed and reached out to them with some questions and they got back to us immediately with thorough information). They are super responsive and professional. We love the whole team and our beautiful home. Thank you Newcastle!!!

We love working with Newcastle Homes! An architect I work with many different builders/developers and Newcastle is the one I am the most pleased with. They respect the knowledge of their designers and they build a quality product. They seem to understand their market and build homes that are both progressive and sensible. Lex and his staff are truly committed to improving the built environment and not just going for short term gains.

I have worked with Lex and Judy for many years as a steel fabricator sub contractor and they are very respectful and professional in working with there subs. They make you feel like you work with family and i personally have not encountered that type of working relationship with any builder and they have and hold us as subs as well to the highest standard of quality workmanship.They were a great company to work for and are in my opinion one of the best home builders in the Austin area.

We are on our 7th project working with Newcastle and couldn't be happier with our relationship. Lex spends a lot of time listening to us as well as giving us market based feedback that will help improve our designs. I've had the experience of building from the ground up twice now and I can't say enough good things about the team at Newcastle. The first build (with a different builder) was a whirlwind. Just over 100 days start to finish. As it was happening, I was so impressed with how quickly things were moving especially after hearing horror stories of builds getting delayed and taking not just months, but YEARS. But alas, speed comes at a cost, and my partner and I quickly learned the hard way after we moved in that faster isn't always better. Lex and the team at Newcastle impressed me from the jump. It was clear when we all sat down to talk about the project that they had thought about every detail. The way the house was designed, the quality of the appliances and standard finishes, their openness to my ideas and personal style. We just jived from the start. While the build took longer than 4 months, it was still knocked out in less than a year and it's everything I could have hoped for and more. Now that I'm in the space, I have an even greater appreciation for their attention to detail and the quality of their work. Light years better than the other builder I worked with. The entire team - from the owner to the lead contractor - was pleasant, professional, and responsive. I really couldn't be happier.

I was really impressed by the fact that you and your team bent over backwards for us and were completely customer focused, something that is extremely rare. The homes that you have built here in Austin show extreme care and quality; your homes are much more than a generic makeup of materials you see in every other Austin home nowadays... this is very rare and hard to find! We worked with Newcastle to construct our home (the Lyons Den project) and were delighted at every step. Lex was up front and transparent from the very beginning, further assuring us that we had made the right decision. As we worked through the design process, we had just the right flexibility and structure to where we felt in control, but also in good hands. His contractors are the best and Lex's team goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. Throughout the process, we toured a lot of Newcastle's other projects for ideas and every single project was beautiful. When we get ready for a new house or rental property, Newcastle will be our first (and only) stop.

We love our Newcastle home! It even has a cool name 'The Bumble Bee'! :) They work with talented architects (Francois Lévy) in our case. Lex was straight forward, and honest. A lot of e-mails back and forth patiently explaining our options, which was super helpful, and we ended up with what we really wanted! The whole crew is a pleasure to work with. They even came through for us when the deal was done, code issues with the city. (really appreciated that!) the head builder guy Chris is really nice and receptive, too! Chris was showing us another house they were building, and I mentioned how much I liked the handrail in the stairway, but I knew our house didn't have that one in the plans, darn it! When we visited our house the next week it had the same handrail! Pretty cool, right! You won't be sorry if you choose Newcastle!

Newcastle provided a turnkey custom build experience for us. Great experience, classy company and classy people. They are honest, nice and smart. Here's what we sent them in response to some final touch ups they did after we got settled in: Thank you very much for all the awesome work you guys did last Friday. It coudln't have gone any more smoothly. I have a whole new respect for the monumental level of effort, organization and coordination that goes into mobilizing many resources across several projects. We really, really apprecaite it. Also can't thank Newcastle enough for going WAY above and beyond with the clean up of $$odopes work -- totally unnecessary, but massively apprecaited. Not sure what else to say. You guys are awesome.

NewCastle Homes was the development company that helped my wife and I design and build our new home in East Austin. Our experience with the company and their team was incredible. From the owners Judy and Lex, to the support staff Stephanie and Rebecca, the GC's Thomas and Bud and finally the contractors themselves was fantastic. Communication was priority, and they all went above and beyond to ensure that our house was exactly what we wanted...and it is! Our house is perfect, as well as very high quality. We have lived in a NewCastle home the past 3 years and have loved it since day one. If you love modern design and old neighborhoods like much of what is found in East Austin, you will love these homes. They are well built and thoughtfully done.
