Barb Lipe is an amazing interior designer. She is very timely for appointments, offers flexibility & is very reliable. My husband and I were very thankful to have her expertise during the beginning stages of our home remodel project. She was familiar with building codes, the best kitchen lay-outs (considering flow), & knew how to work well with the architect we were using. She has a full knowledge of helpful sources, Houzz being one of them. One aspect of our project was to make our home accessible for individuals in a wheel chair. Her knowledge on this was very impressive, offering correct dimensions & subtleties that shows that she is advocating for these potential guests in our home. Lastly, as we were working with our contractors, she wouldn't hesitate to call out to them a need to correct something that "could be done better." She certainly looked out for us! She comes highly recommended by our family.

We have worked with Barbara for about 10 years. She has helped design and purchase furnishings for around 2 dozen models in NC and the coastal SC areas. Not only can I attest to Barb's amazing creativity, ease to work with, and all around professionalism, a host of many women who come through our offices would agree that she is a highly skilled and gifted designer -- even if they don't know her name. As the Executive Director of a non-profit counseling ministry for women, my vision was to create a space for our clients that was sacred -- beautifully decorated, warm, safe, and inviting. I called on Barb to help me and she was wonderful. We have been in this location for 5 years and still I get asked who did the decorating. I've also worked with Barb personally at my home. Because I'm the director of a non-profit (meaning limited budget), she was willing to work with me in a way that I could afford a professional decorator.
