A ROOM ABOVE is a Danish Design Company founded to develop and share my creative ideas and knowledge. With more than 20 years of successful professional experience of interior design, product development and visual merchandising, I can now confidently say that “I know what I am doing”. My starting point is always the individual customers needs. I am strongly result oriented and measure my own success by the commercial success of my customers. The ability to guide and inspire, to be able to convert idea into action and product, are all essential to my work and also my main source of motivation. I am constantly seeking inspiration and often travel in Asia and Europe to develop ideas and explore new materials and methods for product development. A large part of my success, I believe, is due to my ability to trust and follow my own research and intuition when developing innovative and contemporary ideas and products with high commercial value. On a professional – as well as personal – level, I thrive on challenges and function best when I can use my creativity fully. I’m energetic and enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently. I am ambitious, and never settle for easy solutions or obvious ideas.
