Conversational Arts uses an alternative to traditional polyester materials and printing processes. Our dyed cloth uses a water-less printing process while consuming 70% less energy with no hazardous by-products. Our soft silky fabrics are made of recycled materials and organic cottons instead of newly processed raw materials. This helps our planet's limited resources while also removing material from our landfills.
One in three people today have no access to clean water. The textile industry is the third largest consumer of water and the source of up to 20% of worldwide industrial pollution. Dying one pillow can consume 15 gallons of water which is often taken from critically scarce sources and released back into the environment after being polluted with dye products. One of our pillows keeps five plastic bottles from ever getting into a landfill. All of our fabrics are woven and printed in the USA.
