Carolyn is a gifted designer and manager. She took charge of our project from measuring, blueprints, selection of materials, appliances, permitting. She managed her expert contractors through the construction and installation processes. Our kitchen, living room and balcony are designed with indoor/outdoor living and greatly enhanced views, including the use of LaCantina Door Panels and custom windows. Carolyn has done outstanding work for us (kitchen remodel, dining room, family room, & new bathroom). She is creative, quick, conscientious, efficient, and has sophisticated & timely ideas/plans, as well as great taste. As an excellent listener, she thoughtfully respected our priorities and preferences. Without any pressure, Carolyn tactfully encouraged us to consider things outside of our 'comfort zone' and we are so glad she did. Carolyn checks all the boxes for the best interior designer. She is professional. She listened to what we were looking for in our total home remodel. She worked within our budget. She brought our input to a reality beyond our expectations. This was a total home remodel and when we got frustrated with all the mess of the remodel she was calm and reassuring it would be worth it in the end. And it was. As we finished rooms we asked her to stage and decorate and furnish the rooms and what a great touch that was! I highly recommend Carolyn.

I first learned of Carolyn Zainer at CAZ Designs from a friend of mine who gave her company the most wonderful referral after she completed a large remodel of their home. After seeing the end result, I absolutely wanted Carolyn to take on my project. From our beginning interview and project discussion to achieving the end result of my “perfect” home, she was ever polite, gracious and always on point in interpreting my thoughts and desires. Her knowledge of construction, design, furniture, fabrics and stone/wood/tile is unparalleled. My remodel project was completed in a timely manner by her skilled workforce. Carolyn helped us every step of the way with our home remodel. We took out walls, replaced flooring, put in new countertops & backsplash in the kitchen, We also refaced the kitchen cabinets, put in a new fireplace and added a wine wall to our dining room. Carolyn designed everything for us and worked with all of the contractors. I didn't have to do a thing! She also helped us to pick out and buy all of the new furniture. She was amazing! If you don't like dealing with contractors, let her do all the work for you! She was super sweet, courteous and very kind & patient with my overly rambunctious golden retriever. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Making the decision to work with Carolyn was absolutely the best decision we made at the beginning of our kitchen remodel. She got what we were looking for from the start. She was able to bring together a terrific team to bring the vision to fruition. When I was concerned we would never find counter tops or flooring, she made it look easy. I had looked at hundred of flooring choices and everything was wrong. Carolyn had even brought us a bunch and they just didn't work. She then brought one that everyone but me loved. I kept looking, all the while her latest choice was sitting on our floor and more people fell in love with it. She finally said to me, you have have to trust me, and I'm so glad I did. It's such a beautiful choice and a centerpiece of the kitchen. Our counter tops are absolutely perfect too! By working with Carolyn we were able to front load our project (stage everything on site) and finish on time. I never had to worry if we were on track, because she managed the process from beginning to end. She was always available for questions, new ideas, and even the occasional freak outs :) We finished just a day or two before Thanksgiving and we were thrilled to share the new kitchen with our friends and family. They love it as much as we do! If you are thinking of starting a project, I definitely recommend working with Carolyn!

We hired this service to help us design and implement a kitchen remodel. It was an excellant choice amoung others we got quotes from. Carolyn was friendly and respectful or our ideas and provided alternate ideas for us to consider. She managed the project as a link to the contractors who did the work. She stopped by often to check progress and make sure we we happy. The project calendar was held to with just a week over due to issues beyond her control. We are thrilled with the results as well as everyone who has seen the beautiful results. In a few weeks we plan to do a bathroom remodel and looking forward to working with Caroline again. You wont go wrong if you choose to use her services.
