Dan really helped us bring our renovation ideas to light. Being able to work with him to put our concepts on paper was an incredible project tool, helping to plan, build excitement and integrate each detail into a bigger easy to understand picture. We couldn't be happier with the end product, or the process.

Dan skillfully designed our retirement home. What impressed us most was his appreciation of the natural landscape, his ability to design and situate our home in harmony with the environment.

In late 2013, my husband and I purchased our dream property near Ladysmith, on the water in Evening Cove. Prior to that purchase, we had been scouting for a nice tear-down property that we could live in part-time until retirement, and had hired Dan to consult on property purchases. In the end, Dan become our architect. We wanted to work with a local architect who understood sun paths, elements, local building codes and other influences that could impact a great design/build project. We chose to work with Dan because of his local knowledge, and that his timber, rock, glass home design projects were in line with our vision. We've enjoyed working with Dan, whose knowledge as an engineer is very valuable. We are on round two of the drawings and plans, and getting ready to start construction as soon as the economic uncertainty settles somewhat. Be prepared for his super-smart ideas and solutions for even the most demanding building site, his great sense of humour and his loveable old Toyota pick-up truck.

With just one meeting, Dan provided us with an amazing design for our large addition. We could not have imagined the possibilities, without his help and plans.
