We have over 20 years of building experience and we have built our reputation one customer at a time. Building decks has been a passion for Garth Hutchinson for over 20 years. The product knowledge in low-maintenance decking and railing makes him stand out in the decking industry. He was the first franchise to work with a leading decking company in Canada. After 8 years of this educational experience, Garth went to work the retail end of the decking industry. There he managed the store, staff, organized sales calls, provided quotes, completed material lists and set up sub contractors to complete the job under his supervision. Yet another educational experience, Garth took his experiences and began Decks Out Back. He knows that customers are a priority and that he built his reputation building one deck at a time to satisfied customers.
