Design Consultant, Decorator. I have always had a passion for design. Growing up I was inspired by my mother who is an exceptional designer. As a teenager I was redesigning bedrooms for all my friends. Later I would jump at the chance to assist a friend or co-worker with their design project. After completing a Diploma in Interior Design I have been providing design services for residential and commercial clients.

My experience was extremely positive. We were in another city for much of this reno and we were consulted on everything. The finished home was very well suited to my tastes and she worked from rather sketchy info about my needs/desires. Follow up was prompt and complete. This was an entire house reno with a limited budget. We were very happy. Rose Joshi

Desiree Larose of L Decor Nanaimo helped me turn a dull bathroom into one that sparkles - with an injection of colour. By replacing beige with turquoise and white, the addition of glass knobs on the vanity, and touches of silver, my bathroom is now a room I like to spend time in and makes getting ready in the morning a pleasure.

I have consulted on many occasions and followed her work
Desiree's approach, is not about decorating, which I very much respect, as I too am in the design world. It is about what makes sense from a design point of view. She does not over-coordinate, but knows how to mix old with new, modern with ethnic. That to me is the what makes a quality designer. It is as if she has travelled the world and has brought it back with her. Her spacial sense is also, something I appreciate. Whether it placement of furniture, or artwork. It just works, and there is an elegance and substance about it.
