Distinct Home Designs Inc. paved the way for a most positive experience in the creation and building of our retirement home. Distinct Home Designs Inc. and its owner Stan Kucel were upfront and honest about the process, timing and costs in which they could get us into our home. They came through. We spend time with many stick built and modular builders before we chose Stan and could not be more satisfied with our entire expectations surpassed. Working with Distinct Home Designs Inc. and Westchester Modular we watched our house go from an idea, to drawings, to reality and we could not be more pleased. When we first started talking about using a Modular approach we though that we would be limited to fixed floor plans but the team meet all our requirements to layout our new home the way we envisioned it. That was an extremely important thing to us. Communication between builder and homeowner is critical on all home building projects, and as Stan worked on the house between our first meeting and completion he kept us informed on what and when everything was to be completed. He has an excellent team on his staff and teams of subcontractors. When we reviewed their work for craftsmanship and integrity and we questioned anything his team would make it perfect. We need to give kudos to Chris from Distinct Home Designs who was on the job from the first day to last. His workmanship allows me to use words like craftsmanship and integrity in my praise. Our experience with Stan Kucel’s Distinct Home Designs team reinforced that we were working with the best builder available, and I would recommended them to anyone who is considering buying a home. We could not be happier with our new home built by Kucel Contractors. We choose a Westchester modular home and worked with Kucel and Westchester’s local representative. We had many informative meetings and designed our home with their guidance. Each window, room and room size were discussed and chosen with Stan Kucel’s guidance and Jim from Westchester. Watching our home be delivered to our land on a Thursday late afternoon was breathtaking. The following morning by 9:00 we were walking through our home full of joy and proud, planning our future from within our new home. Our home was 85 to 90% done upon setting it on the foundation. No long days wondering what the contractors did that day, no weather delay, and no frustration. We experienced a stress free process with guidance and professional advice. We have fond memories of the process from discussing our new home through moving in. We did save a significant amount of money, although there was no sacrifice of quality. Amazing. We have now been in our home for over six (6) months, and we might add, without incident or problem. Kucel chose each subcontractor carefully and had them on site when he said he would. It was like watching a finely choreographed play. We made a few changes after the house was set and were very pleased with the change order process. Our home was exactly on budget allowing us to accurately plan our finances. We could not be happier with Kucel, Westchester and the subcontractors. We highly suggest you seriously look into this option if you have any desire for a new home. We are sure you will be as pleased as we are.

Distinct Home Designs was a pleasure to do business with. This organization is run well and focuses on customer needs and what adjustments need to be offered to ensure customer needs are meet. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We are already planning our next large project with them.
