I had a Murphy Bed/Book Case designed and built, but the issue was I had a low ceiling in my basement.The bed needed to open on it's side David took on the challenge like a champ - I'm so pleasesed with the end product. The bed was fabricated within a few weeks and he was very responsive when he needed to tweak it a bit as well. He is professional, a true craftsman and easy to work with. I would highly recommend him to others.

David's work was above and beyond our expectations. The custom Cabinets he installed are perfect and changed the entire feel of the Den instantly adding value to our home. We recommend David w/out hesitation.

David is amazing! I had a very unique request for him- a rustic bar very different in finish than any previous project he had completed. He went with my vision and created a fabulous custom bar using reclaimed lumber and pipe fittings. He really went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was happy with the finished project and that it was what I was hoping for. He finished the project in a timely manner, kept me completely updated throughout the process, he stuck to the budget, and was a pleasure to have working in my house. The installation took only one day and it was as if no one had been in my home because his clean up was meticulous. We were so thrilled with the bar, we asked him to make a custom fireplace surround/mantel, storage seat drawers, and floating shelves for another area of our basement. I highly recommend him for any cabinetry, bar, or built in needs because his work is outstanding!

Before we found David, we consulted with a high-end national chain. And while everyone was very nice, the prices were outrageously high for a pre-fabricated product and getting anything in real wood that was truly custom was just not an option. We did some research and found David Leiz. Here’s a guy that makes exactly what you want out of almost any material at less than half the price of what the big closet companies charge. But beyond the cost advantage, having a master cabinet maker do the work was a great experience. When we called him up, he could not have been more gracious. He came over and assessed the job. We threw out some ideas and sketches. David worked with us and was able to accommodate some funky architectural challenges of the rooms. A short time later he came back with plans. We agreed to some changes and after a couple months of production, David and his helper came over to install. They treated our place like it was their own and laid down drop cloths to protect the wood floors. More importantly, as you can see in the pics, all the corners on the doors line up. They take pride in their work and it shows. The only thing we had to do was pick out and buy some cool hardware for them to install. If you’re thinking of increasing the value of your house with some custom installs, don’t hesitate to call David.

David truly listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly what we discussed with exquisite detail. This was the first time we had ever done any renovation work, and he was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process, including making recommendations for some of the contractors we hired and pointing out problems that needed to be addressed with other contractors on the project whose work was not up to par. Our room is now the showcase of our home and we love it thanks to David. Highly Recommend!

We absolutely love our custom wall unit. Dave was very accommodating with our needs, both from a design perspective and from a financial perspective. The quality of the work is very obvious and it has truly made our family room complete- it actually exceeded my expectations!
