Carey's interior design firm was located in Manhattan from 1983 until 1987, he then returned to Washington where the company was located until moving to Annapolis in 1997. HIs regular clientele base includes singles and couples, law firms, doctor offices and a yacht club; however, Carey has also designed for the then Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., a First Lady of the U.S. and the wife of a Vice President of the U.S.

Carey's goal for every project is to provide comfortable and beautiful interiors to withstand the tests of time and trend.
