Doucet Remodeling & Design remodeled our master bathroom from the studs out, and the resulting bath is outstanding! Cathy and Stephen work together as a team, so the client doesn't need to be the liaison between the designer and the contractor. Cathy's attention to detail is phenomenal--she really thinks of everything before any components are ordered. Think distance between back of faucet and the wall, which was to be covered with tile and the appropriate substrate before the installation of the sinks; or exactly how deep a wall niche should be, determined by the tile you have chosen, not to mention hundreds of other calculations. She measures and re-measures, and gets it right. Cathy, Stephen and their team of subcontractors are very organized and were great about keeping us informed. Subs clearly like working for the Doucets and most have had a long working relationship with the company. All parties were easily reached by text, phone or email and responses were quick. Floors and carpets were protected and kept clean; the work area was left tidy each day. And the work itself is top-notch. It took a bit longer than we anticipated and we did go over budget, but it was worth it. We have a room that we will use every single day and love!

We continue to be delighted with our kitchen renovation. The Doucet's are incredibly gifted professionals and delivered an experience that we could not have imagined possible. We appreciated their support and will hire them for any future projects.

This is my third project with Doucet Remodeling and Design. This project was a new construction home that required complete design of the kitchen, pantry and bathrooms as well as an office and bar area. They also provided a complete lighting plan and aided in paint color selection. This company is always a pleasure to work with. The Doucet Remodeling and Design Company built a three story addition on our house in Lexington. We love it. It is absolutely beautiful and it blends perfectly with the footprint of the original house. A unique feature that this contracting company provides is a husband and wife team. Stephen is the contractor and his wife Cathy is a certified interior decorator. Having an interior decorator as part of the team makes the whole process flow smoother. Cathy is very detailed oriented and made sure all the accents pieces ie cabinet knobs and handles were ordered and matching. Nothing was overlooked. She helped me every step of the way picking out paint colors, tiles, cabinets and countertops. The Doucets sell two different cabinet brands. The cabinet company we chose was able to custom make bathroom cabinets and vanities in addition to the kitchen cabinets. An architect is part of the design team; he drafted 2 different plans and gave us the option of which to choose. The project was overwhelming for us when we started out. Working with the Doucets made the experience as painless as possible. They brought our dream to fruition and the end product was better than we had even imagined.

Doucet Remodeling & Design performed an excellent job for our Family Room addition. Mr. Doucet spent a lot of quality time with my husband and I during the preliminary design phase. This was a design/build project allowing us to keep within our proposed budget and truly getting the result we were looking for. We would highly recommend them and would use them again for any future projects.
