Erin May, Architect

We hired Erin to renovate our kitchen. One of our primary concerns was how the new kitchen and addition would integrate with the rest of our house. Erin was able to transform our tiny, dated kitchen into a modern masterpiece that seamlessly fit with the aesthetic of our home. She was easy to work with, and worked well with our contractors and designers. She went above and beyond to help resolve permit issues. Erin worked closely with us, and involved us in every detail - making sure we were comfortable and on board with all decisions. Erin was also very good at problem solving and thinking out-of-the-box when unforeseen obstacles provided big challenges. In the end, our kitchen far exceeded all expectations. It is gorgeous and we could not be happier.

Erin was a pleasure to work with and she did a wonderful job helping us re-imagine our 1970s contemporary home. Erin helped us modify the segmented layout of our living areas to a natural, open flow that respected the house's vintage character. Her architecual expertise helped us navigate engineering changes and the permitting and inspection process were overall painless. We're thrilled with the end result and would welcome the opportunity to work with Erin in the future.

Our project was to renovate our entire main floor, including kitchen, by removing several walls to open it up. Erin drew a great creative plan, she helped us choose the contractor, she did a good job supervising the contractor. She was pleasant to work with and always available.

Erin was terrific to work with on our home renovation. She has a great sense of design and focuses both on the big picture and all of the detail. She was very responsive and provided much guidance on all the product choices that had to be made. We were very impressed by her ability to handle unexpected issues and come up with many options and solutions.

I was unable to use Erin on our former house because we were transferred before we got past the consulting part. We've moved 400 miles away but if I can arrange it, Erin will help me with the new house. She is not only creative but she listened, really listened, to what I wanted and to my own crazy ideas for the changes. This time the project will be bigger but I have no doubt, if I can woo her down here, that she will inspire me and pump me up while holding on to my shirttail to keep me grounded. I know lots of architects but I've got my hopes pinned on getting Erin's help this time.
